Introduction  –  Hosea 1:10-11;  Hosea 3:5-6

  1. It is time to soften your heart hardened by sin    Hosea 10:12-15
    1. Fallow ground due to neglecting the truth of God
    2. Fallow ground due to wickedness & idolatry
    3. Fallow ground due to believing lies spiritually & politically
    4. Fallow ground resulting in tumultuous defeats of their enemies
  2. It is time to trust in the Lord over yourself or others    Hosea 10:13;  Proverbs 3:1-12
    1. They had trusted in their own way
    2. They had trusted in their own might & ability
    3. They had trusted in their own religion & teachings
  3. It is time to sow righteousness instead of wickedness     Hosea 10:12-15
    1. In order to reap the mercy of God instead of judgment
    2. In order to reap the righteousness of God instead of destruction
    3. In order to reap the blessings of God instead of His wrath
