TEXT:  Ephesians 2:1-5

I. Who we all are without I AM      EPH 2:1-2
A. We are all spiritually separated from God vss. 1b-2
B. We are all spiritually condemned as law breakers vss. 2-3
C. We are all spiritually dead in our sins vs. 3
1. We all begin in this condition from birth
2. We are all in this condition as descendants of Adam.  Genesis 2:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:45-49;  Romans 5:15-21
3. We all will remain in this condition without receiving I AM as Saviour
II. Who we are with I AM    EPH 2:1, 5
A. He makes us alive
B. He makes each of us alive
C. He makes us alive with Himself Psalm 119:25, 37, 40, 50, 88, 107, 149, 154, 156, 159. Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 15:36, Colossians 2:13, I Peter 3:18.
III. How we are alive in I AM   EPH 2:4-5
A. It is only because of God’s mercy vs. 4a
B. It is only due to God’s love vs. 4b. Romans 5:8-9. I John 4:9
C. It is only by God’s grace vs. 5
