- Relationship with God (v. 57)

- Prayer unto God (v. 58)
 - Dependence on Him—“I intreated thy favor…”

 - Seeking God’s blessings on my life
 - Seeking God’s face to shine upon my life (Numbers 6:24-26)

III. Repentance before God (v. 59)

VII. Godly Friends (v. 63)
- Choosing friends that honor God in their own life (Proverbs 13:20)

VIII. Submission to God (v. 64)
- Submission to God as the Creator of my life helps me to build a godly life
 - Submission to God for His mercy in my life helps me to build a godly life
 - Submission to God to be teachable in His Word helps me to build a godly life
 - The Psalmist is requesting to be taught by God
 - The Psalmist is committing to being attentive to learn
