TEXT:  I Timothy 5:21-22

I. A charge to heed (v. 21a)
A. The recipient of the charge
B. The audience of the charge (Matthew 25:41; II Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6; Revelation12:7-9; 14:10)
C. The declaration of the charge
1. To obey the truth given to him for himself
2. To apply the truth to every other person equally the same

II. A consistency to follow (v. 21b)
A. No preference to anyone
B. No partiality to anyone
C. No prejudice to anyone

III. A caution to obey (v. 22)
A. Don’t be physically aggressive with anyone quickly
B. Don’t be participating or condoning of the sin of anyone
C. Do keep yourself pure as you minister to and with others
