Introduction: “See then” EPHESIANS 5:13-14
- God’s Will involves how I live my life – EPHESIANS 5:15-16
- It is the will of God that I live diligently, not lazily. Matthew 2:8; Luke 1:3; Acts 18:25; 1 Thessalonians 5:2.
- It is the will of God that I live wisely, not foolishly
- It is the will of God that I live productively, not vainly
- It is the will of God that I live godly, not worldly. …”the days are evil”…
- God’s Will involves what controls my life. – EPHESIANS 5:17-18
- God does not want ignorance of His will to control my life.
- God does not want my will to control my life over His will.
- God does not want intoxicants to control my life at all. Titus 1:6; 1 Peter 4:4
- God wants His Spirit to control my life completely to do His will.
- God’s Will involves how I worship Him. – EPHESIANS 5:19-21
- God’s will is for us to worship Him with godly music, not worldly music.
- God’s will is for us to worship Him from our heart more than from our flesh.
- God’s Will is for us to worship Him for His glory, not ourselves.
- God’s Will is for us to worship Him with thankfulness for His goodness.
- God’s Will is for us to worship Him through the name of His Son.
- God’s Will is for us to worship Him with submission & honor to Him.
- God’s Will is for us to worship Him in humility with one another.
