What is the will of God, His mission, for us?

God wants us to continue, press on, be faithful; not to slack up, get off track, turn aside, or backslide into sin.

* As an individual follower of Christ
* As a church body of believers
* As a missionary to a lost world

I. Continue in God’s Word (John 8:31-32)
A. Continuing in God’s Word helps us grow spiritually (I Peter 2:2; 3:18)
B. Continuing in God’s Word helps us mature in our faith (Romans 10:17)
C. Continuing in God’s Word helps us stay right with God

II. Continue in Bible doctrine (I Timothy 4:16)
A. By continuing in the Word personally
B. By continuing in the Word corporately
C. By continuing in the Word rightly (II Timothy 2:15; II Peter 1:16-21)

III. Continue in the Grace of God (Acts 13:43, 40-52)
A. By being a recipient of the grace of God in Salvation
1. We are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:3-8)
2. We are to grow in grace (II Peter 3:18)
3. We are to serve with grace (Hebrews 12:28)
B. By being under the preaching of God’s Word in the house of God
C. By being sensitive to the Spirit of God

IV. Continue Witnessing (Acts 26:22, 15-23)
A. Witnessing to everyone everywhere (Acts 26:15-18)
B. Witnessing to anyone anywhere (Acts 26:19-23)
1. Anyone can be saved if they can be given the Gospel
2. Anyone who receives the Gospel has the potential to believe the Gospel
3. Anyone who believes the Gospel will be saved by the Gospel unto eternal life
C. Witnessing to those here and there concurrently (Act 1:8)
