TEXT:  I Timothy 1:1-7

I. Faithful servants of the Lord continue (vv. 1-2)
A. They faithfully continue in the will of God (v. 1)
B. They faithfully continue investing in others (v. 2a)
C. They faithfully continue declaring the goodness of God (v. 2b)

II. Faithful servants continue serving (vv. 3-4)
A. Continue serving where you are (v. 3a)
B. Continue serving where you are needed (v. 3b)
C. Continue serving God’s Word truthfully (vv. 3c-4)

1. Teaching the Bible accurately to those in your care
2. Making sure others are teaching the Bible accurately as well
3. Challenging everyone not to get sidetracked in things that create doubt
4. Challenging everyone to teach truth that helps believers grow to be faithful to God

III. Faithful servants continue serving in love (vv. 5-7)
A. Serving with biblical love from God (v. 5)
B. Serving with biblical love by faith in God (v. 6)
C. Serving with biblical love understandingly not pridefully (v. 7)
