TEXT:  James 2:8-25

I. Fulfilling the Royal Law of God is the will of God (vv. 8-13)
A. It is always the right thing to love others (v. 8)
B. It is always the wrong thing to play favorites with certain people (v. 9)
C. It is always the wrong thing to try to earn your way to Heaven (vv. 10-11)
D. It is always the best to prepare for our accountability to God (vv. 12-13)

II. Biblical faith brings forth fruit to God’s glory in our lives (vv. 14-18)
A. True faith produces pure works (v. 15)
B. True faith results in genuine love (v. 16)
C. True faith experiences spiritual life (v. 16)
D. True faith displays the evidence of true faith (v. 18)

III. Biblical faith goes deeper than acknowledgement of facts (vv. 19-26)
A. The demonic forces believe in the existence of God (vv. 19-20)
B. Faith that makes us right with God produces fruit in our lives (vv. 21-23)
C. Faith that justifies us with God brings spiritual life into our spirit (vv. 24-26)
