WED: THANKSGIVING PRAYER & PRAISE SERVICE

TEXT:  PSALM 136

The service starts with a warm welcome from the Pastor, followed by a hymn of praise to God. The pastor then delivers a sermon centered around giving thanks to God for His creation and His redemptive plan. He emphasizes God’s goodness, mercy, and faithfulness, and encourages the congregation to reflect on their own blessings.

One of the key themes explored in the sermon is God’s deliverance of the Jewish people from Egypt, as described in Psalm 136. The pastor draws parallels between this historical event and God’s work in our lives, reminding us that He is always there for us and will see us through any challenge.

The congregation is then invited to share their personal testimonies of God’s faithfulness. Several members come forward to express their gratitude for various blessings, including:

  • Salvation through Jesus Christ
  • The love and support of family
  • God’s provision for their needs
  • Protection from harm
  • Guidance through difficult times
  • Comfort and peace in times of sorrow
  • Answers to prayer
  • The presence of the Holy Spirit

These heartfelt testimonies serve as a powerful reminder of God’s goodness and his impact on our lives. The service concludes with a final song of praise.
