  1. We must listen if we are going to learn     Psalm 78:1-3
    1. To listen, we must give ear to what we hear for learning
    2. To learn we must be teachable, listening to those who care about us
    3. To be teachable in listening enables us to know truth that will help us
  2. We must learn if we are going to change    Psalm 78:4
    1. When we make changes in our lives, we do not hide truth from others
    2. When we make changes in our lives, we show forth what we learn
    3. When we make changes for God’s Glory in our life, others see
  3. We must speak if we are going to teach    Psalm 78:5-7
    1. We must speak to teach what we have learned from others
    2. We must speak to teach what we have learned in our lives
    3. We must speak to teach what we have learned from God
  4. We must teach if we are going to change the future    Psalm 78:8, 9-72
    1. We cannot change the future if we repeat the past
    2. We cannot change the future if we forget the lessons of the past
    3. We cannot change the future if we fail to learn from the past
    4. We cannot change the future if we do not make changes in what we do
    5. We miss out on what we could have when we choose not the change the future
