January 25, 2026 Annual Report Psalm 51:1-10
2025 – CONTINUE
I. We all continue to need God’s mercy to renew us daily (v. 1a)
A. Without God’s mercy shown to us we would be condemned in our sins
B. Without God’s mercy being upon us we would suffer to destruction of our sins
C. Without God’s mercy continuing to be extended to us none of us would survive
II. We all continue to need God’s lovingkindness to renew us daily (v. 1b)
A. God’s mercy upon us is because of God’s lovingkindness for us
B. God’s mercy upon us is in accordance with God’s lovingkindness to us
C. God’s mercy upon us is in likeness to God’s tender mercies to cleanse us
III. We all continue to need God’s wisdom in our inner being to renew us daily (v. 6)
A. The truth of God’s Word helps us to know the wisdom of God
B. God’s truth coming into us helps us to have truth in us so truth can come from us
C. God desires us to have truth in us so He can make us know wisdom
IV. We all continue to need God’s work in us to renew us with hearing joy (v. 8)
A. God is being asked to “make me hear”
B. What we hear affects how we feel
C. We need to hear joy and gladness in order to rejoice from our brokenness
