TEXT:  I Corinthians 6:19-27

I. Making myself do what I should do (vv. 19-23)
A. I am free in Christ, yet I make myself a servant unto others (v. 19)
B. I have liberty in Christ, yet I make myself identify with everyone (vv. 20-23)
1. To gain them to listen to the Gospel
2. To be able to share the Gospel to others
3. To empathize with them as a sinner in need of Christ

II. To succeed in anything requires discipline (vv. 24-25)
A. All who endeavor do not accomplish
B. All who succeed must work at it
C. All who succeed eternally do so on purpose

III. To succeed in anything requires personal commitment (vv. 26-27)
A. A personal commitment to a resolve (v. 26)
B. A personal commitment to a discipline (v. 27a)
C. A personal commitment to an objective (v. 27b)
1. The objective is personal (I Timothy 4:7-8)
2. The objective is godliness
3. The objective is attainable (II Peter 1:3)
