I. God’s theology of spiritual physics in causality (v. 28a)
Examples: In sin—Ezekiel 18:20 In salvation—Romans 10:13, 9-10
A. God’s call warning of His judgment on our sin (vv. 1-11)
B. God’s call to repentance from our sin (vv. 13-17)
C. God’s promise to respond to our repentance (vv. 18-19)
1. God’s promise to have compassion on the repentant (v. 18)
2. God’s promise to answer the prayer of repentance (v. 19a)
3. God’s promise to bless the repentant who prays (v. 19b; II Chronicles 7:11- 14; Jeremiah 33:1-3; I John 1:9)

II. God’s promises of future blessings of His Spirit coming (vv. 28b-31)
A. The promise of His Spirit coming unto man in a general way
1. God’s people in general speaking forth God’s message
2. God’s people in general seeing God’s truth and making it known
3. God’s people in general being led by God’s Spirit in doing God’s will on earth (Proverbs 1:23; Isaiah 32:15; 44:3; Acts 2:2-4, 33, 39)
B. The promise of the working of His Spirit showing God’s power
1. Not just kings and prophets but servants and Gentiles being empowered by God (Acts 10:44-47; 11:15-18; 15:7-8)
2. God’s people doing the work of God showing His power at work on earth
3. God’s people proclaiming His message with the authority of His Word (Isaiah 40:5; 49:6; Ezekiel 39:29; John 7:39; Acts 2:16-18)
C. The promise of the Judgment of God in His creation by His power
1. Wonders of His judgement in the heavens and the earth
2. Wonders of His power altering the celestial creation
3. Wonders of His power in His Judgement against sin on earth and in eternity (Luke 3:6)

III. God’s promise of future workings of His grace (v. 32)
A. Whosoever shall call—the church age of grace
B. In Jerusalem shall be deliverance—the millennial kingdom of Jesus
C. In the remnant whom the Lord shall call—Israel will receive Jesus as Messiah (Zechariah 12:10)
