The Lord Did Marvelously

Psalm 118:23

“This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.”

Psalm 105

  1. 1 “O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.”
  1. 5 “Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;”

During our Bible Conference Prayer Meeting on Wednesday, April 19, our prayer outline was taken from Psalm 105:1-8, as we prayed for God do work on behalf of the 32nd Annual Northwest Bible Conference this past week. If you were here for any part of the Bible conference, then you know by experience that God did amazingly and marvelously answer our every prayer. If you missed out, then I am here to inform you that you truly missed out on something very special indeed. Let me encourage you to benefit from the sermons online, because they are truly worthy of your time and attention. God met with us and worked in us through the preaching of His Word in His power. Hearts were moved, decisions were made and, hopefully, eternal fruit will result. The singing was an event of its own to be sure, and it was a blessing to lift up songs of praise and Bible doctrine to the glory of the Lord with His saints from other places. As usual, there was a sweet spirit of unity in the Lord in the atmosphere of the entire meeting. God brought 47 of His ministry servants, with 43 different churches being represented from 9 different states, all converging together in little ole Summerville to worship their great God. God used His people to help raise over $20,000.00 to meet the needs of six different servants of His. Several of the needs presented were fully funded and a few were substantially helped, but all were given help by God’s grace and provision. I heard many missionaries say they booked meetings and met new preachers that they would have most likely never crossed paths with otherwise. Several servants of God met each other for the first time and several were enjoying the conference for the first time. I was blessed to see many hands raised who came for the first time last year and were back again this year. One preacher and his wife who were here for the first time sent me a text saying how blessed they were by their time here and that they have already put it on their calendar for next year. I praise the Lord for His marvelous work that He has done in our eyes through His church here serving His people in this meeting. God already gave me His plan for next year!
