I was blessed with a good father. I am thankful for the dad God gave to me. He had his issues as we all do, but he was a good man, and he gave me a good start in life. There are many things I do today that are due to his influence and example in my life growing up. I am sad for the fact that many people did not have a good father to look up to and follow their example. However, I am thankful that we can all have the best father ever if we have God as our Heavenly Father. I am thankful for the influence of God in my life to bring me Salvation in Him and being my Heavenly Father since then. I am thankful for the example of fatherhood that He offers to me in His Word. Much of what I do now in my life as a man, a husband, a father, and a pastor is largely due to His influence in my life. He is the best Father any one could ever have. Jesus is the best shepherd any one can be shepherded by. Jesus gave us the best example of being a man in human form when He lived on this earth as a man. We need to stop making excuses for ourselves and get busy following the best example for any of us in the roles we have in humanity. Every person here either has God as their Heavenly Father or needs God as their Heavenly Father. If you need the best Father, then come to God and receive Him into your life and be born into His family eternally by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, as your personal Saviour and Lord. you will enter into the best relationship that you could ever have. You will begin a relationship that will last into eternity like no other relationship you will ever have with anyone else. As you grow closer to God in your life relationally, you will find that your relationship with Him will have a positive influence on every other relationship you have. Your submission to Him in your life and your obedience to His will in your life will bring blessings into your life that will benefit you and those around you. Having a right relationship with the Heavenly Father can make everything else you experience in this life better and it makes your eternal experience the best it can be. Being right with the Heavenly Father will help you be the best you that you could ever be in each role and relationship you have with others here on earth. Be all that you can be with the Lord in your life.
