It is sad how many Americans are forgetting that freedom is not free. There are too many politicians who have forgotten that freedom is not free and they instead are trying to get rich off of their position. We owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women who serve to protect our freedoms. Our veterans are truly heroes who have been willing to serve and sacrifice for our nation and the freedoms of us all. The victories we have experienced in battle, the other nations we have protected and delivered, and the evils that we have defeated here and around the world are due to our brave veterans who have been willing to serve. The citizens of our nation must realize that without those who serve to protect our freedom, we would not have freedom. I think that is evident in cities like Portland and many other metropolitan cities controlled by liberal politicians who have turned their back on the law enforcement community and they wonder why the peace, safety, and well-being of their cities are declining rapidly. This week we recognized the birthday of the beginning of the Marine Corp on Thursday and Veterans Day on Friday. I hope that you found a veteran to express your gratitude to for defending our nation and our freedoms as citizens of this land that we call home. We need to remind our politicians, federally and locally, that our nation and communities need our peace and safety protected and defended, and those willing servants who put on the uniforms of service need to be supported and funded. We need to support them with those in leadership, but we also need to support them by praying for them and by expressing our gratitude to them for their service. Thank you to all who have served and all who do serve still today. We need to raise up our next generation to value our freedoms and to be willing to help protect those freedom through serving their nation and their community to make a difference. God bless America and God bless those who serve to protect our freedoms.
