God has brought, and still is bringing, revival to many different places in the world. Revivals of the past, the current, and future are not restricted to America or Europe, but have touched all the reaches of the globe. Today, there are amazing works of God in many of the closed and restricted access countries of the world which are controlled by the spiritual darkness of Islam, Communism, and Socialism. God’s miraculous work of reviving the hearts of His people who have grown cool and worldly is never restricted by location on the globe, but rather by the response of the hearts of the saved. God can do a work of revival in any place where there is someone who is willing to be yielded to Him working in them in a very special way to influence others to get engaged in what God is doing in them. It takes God’s people getting serious about their need of God in their daily life. It takes God’s people truly realizing the significance of their dependence on God for everything truly important in life and in eternity. It is dependent on God’s people getting back to God’s will as it is defined in God’s Word through the working of God’s Spirit in the core of their being, their soul. It can begin with one person or two or even a few people who fully devote themselves to their yieldedness to God and His Word. It often spreads to others and can even permeate an entire community or country in a history changing way. God is still looking for those who will truly and fully worship Him just like Jesus articulated to the woman at the well in Samaria in John 4:23-24 when He said, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” This is also what the prophet Hanani was referring to in II Chronicles 16:7-10 when he proclaimed the message God had given him for king Asa in verse 9, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” To which, king Asa threw him in prison because he did not want to hear the truth, just like many today, saved and lost alike, reject the truth of their sinful condition in regards to God. However, their reaction to the truth does not change the truthfulness of the truth. May every believer here today dedicate ourselves to being available to God to use us as His tool to bring about His change in the hearts of others as communicators of His truth to do His work here on earth where we live.
