A Sad Memorial

January 22, 1973

Forty-seven years ago, this coming Wednesday, the Supreme Court of the United States of America made a decision that pushed our nation further in a secular, anti-God, anti-Bible course in the Roe vs. Wade abortion decision. This was another step following the wholesale embracing of Darwinism in our education system over a decade before. The next step was made a few years later with the decision to kick God, prayer, and the Bible out of the public education system. Thankfully, we now have a President who unashamedly and boldly stands up against abortion, against human trafficking, and in favor of religious freedom even in the public school. It is imperative that God’s people make a godly impact on the world in which we live while we live in it. If we are going to make a godly impact, then we must speak God’s truth to others. We must be a witness to the lost. We must share biblical truth with others on the issues of life in our society. We must vote for people who support biblical principles on current issues. We must pray for our nation and our national leaders. We also must call our elected officials in public office and share our views and concerns on policies and decisions they are making that will influence the future of our nation. This year critical elections will be held, and it is critical that God’s people vote for candidates that will support our biblical views and will help us live a quiet and peaceable life in our nation while experiencing the blessings of God. If we are not engaged in the political process, then we are helping secularist push their anti-God and anti-Bible agenda and culture of death on our nation. It is God’s will for His children to make a difference in the world, and this is one of the ways we can make a difference in our nation.
